SAY AMEN, SOMEBODY is a documentary spotlighting the special world of gospel music. Special emphasis is given to the lives and careers of two giants in the business: Singers “Mother” Willie Mae Ford Smith and “Professor” Thomas A. Dorsey. Just try sitting still in your chair while experiencing SAY AMEN, SOMEBODY.
RFC’s Black History Month series is presented by Caddo Parish Commission in partnership with the Shreveport Naacp. Each film in the series will feature an introduction from a community member and a post-screening Q&A. All tickets are $5.
