Karen La Beau presents… Three1Eight: Continuing My Life on Canvas

The Multicultural Center of the South presents the work of New Orleans native & Louisiana Artist Karen T. La Beau and her exhibit “three1eight: Karen La Beau: Continuing My Life on Canvas”.

Ms. La Beau began painting professionally in 2007 with her first series, “My Life on Canvas”, which depicts her life story through visual art. “To me, telling my history on canvas is far more interesting than writing it down on paper.” Karen adds that “three1eight” will be a continuation of ‘My Life on Canvas’.

This exhibit will be on display in our second floor gallery through the month of May beginning with an opening reception on Thursday, May 17th from 5:30 – 8:30 pm.

Come and enjoy some light refreshments on our balcony as you meet with our guest artist and view this amazing exhibit!

Ms. La Beau’s work will be available for purchase and one lucky guest will even win an original piece!
