Please join us for a FREE Wine Tasting on Wednesday, May 25th, from 5p to 7pm; featuring the art of Sebastian: “Artist That I Am”.
We will have samples of great summer wines, fruits, cheeses, and meats, as well a few paintings by our featured artist available for purchase.
During the wine tasting, “Artist That I Am” will be doing a live painting so guests can witness his techniques and artistry!
“Artist That I Am”; in his own words:
Name: Artist That I Am
I am a visual artist born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. I fell in love with art in the 3rd grade at Shreve Island Elementary and my passion became more serious once I made to Southwood High School. I attend BPCC and have an Associates in Film. This is where my love for photography came into my life. Creativity runs in my blood. My dad was an artist and my mom is just a well-rounded creative…full of surprises. My upbringing allowed me to have a very strong connection to GOD. That is where my name came from: “Artist That I Am”. My work is very vibrant, and has a sensual and whimsical feel to it. I used to want my paintings to make people happy, but I’m not always happy when I’m painting. It is my safe place to feel what I feel and let it out. As I have gotten older I understand it’s ok to address a variety of feelings and ways of expression. After all we live in a very colorful world.
