Yule Ball

Come one, come all to the Yule Ball! Students in grades 6th-12th are invited to a Harry Potter-themed holiday extravaganza at our Main Branch. Dress to impress in a suit, dress, or wizarding attire. Snacks will be served. All students must have a permission slip to attend the event.

We are excited to have treats this year courtesy of Hello Sweetie. Hello Sweetie specializes in fandom catering and will be making Hogwarts House Cupcakes for the Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin houses. She will also be making chocolate frogs and Butterbeer for us.

We will also have wandmaking and potions classes. Guests will be able to sort themselves into houses with a sorting hat quiz. Special guest professor Dr. Heather Kleiner from Sci-Port Discovery Center will be on hand along with our staff for teaching these courses.

Care of Magical Creatures will be taught by professors from Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park who will bring owls from their “owlery.”
