It’s going to be a huge and happening Dad’s Day at Caddo Common Park, 869 Texas Ave., Sunday, starting at noon.  You’ll have a chance to get your heart rate up with a dance workout presented by Caddo Parish Parks & Recreation with Fitness Activities led by Juston Joneson of Imperium Fitness/Planet Fitness and Darcell “Swoll” Francois of YOKAFELA/Plex.

If sweating to tunes isn’t part of your game plan, there are loads of other options for you. Enjoy food truck goodies and cold drinks, the kids will be able to make a Father’s Day gift for Dad, there will be an arts market with area artists and creatives showing and selling their wares, and SO MUCH MORE. Every third Sunday you can stumble across ‘uncommonly fun’ activities in the park, but THIS Sunday is special, for obvious (Daddy-o) reasons!

“Sundays in the Park with Artists…and Animals” are presented on the 3rd Sunday of each month from 12 noon – 4:30 pm in Caddo Common Park.  The program is a project of the Shreveport Regional Arts Council and Caddo Parish Parks & Recreation with major support from Ochsner LSU Health, Citizens National Bank, Community Network, Inc., Community Foundation of North Louisiana and the City of Shreveport.
