A long time ago in a galaxy pretty close by, you had ‘arrived’ when you had a tankard with your name on it at The Noble Savage Shreveport. That iteration of the Noble Savage closed about a year ago, leaving some 500 of the original tankards unclaimed. But soon, tankards will be back.

The original tankards.

Folks who purchased an original tankard and left it have until the first of the year to claim it. For those new converts to the food and fun of The Noble Savage, a new look will be coming! Potter Curtis Bias will be creating a tankard that will be ‘similar’ to the old, but will include a stamp of the current Noble Savage logo and will be a different color to differentiate it from the original. Customers will be able to leave their tankard at the restaurant or take it home.

All hail the crest.

Co-owner Liz Walkoviak says the new tankards will be making their debut soon. Meanwhile, the Sunday Brunch on Saturday event that the Savage hosted on Saturday, Nov. 26 was a big hit and will be back, too. Walkoviak says they are slammed with parties and events through the rest of 2022, but plan to bring the Saturday Brunch back on a regular basis in early 2023.
