The holiday season is creating some changes for businesses and we have a few you should be aware of. If you are purchasing any gifts that require embroidery services, Appli-Ks Embroidery and Gifts at 624 Texas Street should be at the top of your list for the work. However, Katy and her crew need you to know that Dec. 9 is the LAST day they can accept embroidery orders for Dec. 25.

Refine Design Boutiques at 616 Texas Street have changed their hours so that they will be more convenient for your shopping over the holidays. They are open seven days a week through Christmas.

The Grove, 107 Spring Street across from the Convention Center Parking Garage, will be open every weekend between now and Christmas and will then close until the first weekend in January! The Grove is open Fridays 4-8pm, Saturdays, 10 am- 6pm and Sundays noon-4pm.

Artspace’s Holidaze gingerbread fantasyland is open Tuesday- Saturday but has a couple of special events to know about. One is Second Saturday Downtown on Saturday, Dec. 10. From 10 am- 2 pm that day, build your own gingerbread house for $15. Then on Wed., Dec. 21, come downtown for Last Minute Deals – Shopping opportunities with refreshments and end of Holidaze deals, 5-8 pm.
